Angelo Iannone was born in Piacenza, Northern Italy, in 1982.
His first approach to photography has been the naturalistic reportage.
He moves towards staged photography, by attending the Riccardo Bauer Institute in the first place and then by working as assistant photographer and lights technician.
He completes his photography education by turning towards the authorial and research photography, enrolling at the Master of High Education for the Contemporary Image for the two year period 2011-2013; at the end of his studies, the project “We’re dark inside” is acquired by the Modena Photography Foundation.
He is a member of the Collective ViaGiardini.
He participates at the Mountain Photo Festival-Artist in residence 2013, curated by Luca Andreoni with the patronage of the Region Valle d’ Aosta.
He exhibits at CAMEC of La Spezia as a result of an artist in residence in the “CURA” project Conservation and modification of the territory from the Cinque Terre in Carrara.
Participate in SiFest of Savignano sul Rubicone, in The Others Art Fair in Turin and the Off Festival of European Photography in Reggio Emilia. Finalist Francesco Fabbri Prize for contemporary arts in 2015.
In 2016 he is one of seven photographers selected by the Fondazione Photography of Modena
in Greece for the the project “Lying in Between” on the humanitarian crisis of migrants.
In 2019 at Palazzo Lucarini (Trevi) exibits Capitolo II in the collective Isole, curated by Filippo Maggia, Daniele Ferrero e Teresa Serra.
Co-Founder of fine art printmaking studio Lab00 of Modena.
